The next show in my 2026 Must See Show series is Lenny Kravitz's headline show at Gunnersbury Park on Saturday 15 August. Part of the Lenny Kravitz Live 2026 run, this one brings a four time GRAMMY Award winner back to London for a summer headline set that feels tailor made for an outdoor crowd.

Kravitz has always operated in his own lane. Drawing on rock, soul and funk without ever sounding stuck in the past, he has built a catalogue that spans decades and still feels sharp on stage. Last year’s Blue Electric Light was met with strong reviews and continued a period of renewed focus that has seen him selling out shows across Europe, South America and Australia, alongside a Las Vegas residency. He is not coasting on nostalgia either with many reviews from last year's shows stating Kravitz is the best he has ever been.

Gunnersbury Park has become a key part of London’s summer calendar in recent years, hosting artists across genres and drawing in varied audiences. It is a space that suits artists with presence and Kravitz has that in abundance. Expect a set that moves between eras with ease and reminds people why he has remained relevant for so long.

If the night's headliner wasn't already must-see, the supporting line-up makes this one of the summer's most special events. Leon Thomas arrives off the back of a breakout few years that have pushed him firmly into the spotlight, while Joss Stone brings experience and a voice that always lands well in open air settings. Brooke Combe continues to grow her following and reputation with each show and De’Wayne adds bite and personality to the mix. It is a lineup that feels considered and perfectly curated

Gunnersbury’s 2026 programme also includes a Jimmy Eat World date celebrating 25 years of Bleed American, with more shows expected to be confirmed. I will update this piece if anything else is added to the bill.
