Next up in my must See Show series for 2026, Alanis Morissette will headline Crystal Palace Park on Saturday 4 July. It is one of just six UK and Ireland dates next summer and her only London show of the run, bringing one of the defining voices of the past three decades back to a major outdoor stage in the capital.
Morissette’s relationship with UK crowds feels stronger than ever. Her most recent visit included a sold out night at The O2 and a widely praised Glastonbury set that reminded people just how deep her catalogue runs. Songs like ‘Ironic’, ‘You Oughta Know’, ‘Hand In My Pocket’ and ‘Thank U’ have long outgrown their original era and now land with the kind of reception that will turn this outdoor show at Crystal Palace Park into a shared moment in time.
For many, 1995’s Jagged Little Pill remains the cornerstone of their music taste. It won five Grammy Awards including Album of the Year and shifted the landscape for female artists in alternative rock. Three decades on, the songs still feel just as emotionally sharp, which is likely why Alanis' live shows continue to draw both long time fans and newer audiences discovering the material in a different context.
Support comes from Skunk Anansie, another act with serious heritage and presence. Fronted by the mindblowing vocals of Skin, the London band have built a reputation on powerful live performances and songs that refuse to sit quietly. Their inclusion adds weight to the bill and keeps the focus firmly on artists who have shaped alternative music in their own distinct ways.
For a single London date in a carefully limited run, this one feels properly considered. A major artist, a strong support act and a setting that continues to grow into its role as a capital summer fixture.
