Must See Shows
Different Frequency Presents
Strongroom Bar, London - 15/04/2026

My next Must See Show spotlight heads to Shoreditch, where Different Frequency present their very first showcase at Strongroom Bar on Wednesday 15 April.
This is not a corporate launch or a faceless live series. It is the first show from genuine music lovers building something from the ground up, led by a team of passionate creatives who care deeply about platforming artists they believe in. Grassroots in the truest sense, with intention behind every name on the bill.
The line up brings together three emerging UK pop voices who each offer something distinct.
Charlotte Clarke is riding a real wave right now, particularly online where ‘I Prefer Karma’ has started to move far beyond a single viral moment. However the brilliance of Charlotte really comes to life on stage where that energy sharpens. Her live sets channel girlhood fury and brutally honest confession, laced with dry humour and powered by a voice that demands attention. It is that bite in her delivery that turns a small room into something electric
Flo Wilkes is the next name on the line-up, bringing over a decade of experience to the night, which is insane given she is only 20 years old. Flo performs with the ease of someone destined to be up under stage lights. Indie rock-drive runs through her sound, mixed with a clear pop sensibility that allows her to build catchy hooks that linger long in the memory of audiences.
The line-up is completed by Matilda Grace, a stellar singer sitting in that space between pop and rock, carving out a sound that feels do distinct and instantly recognisable. Despite only debuting last year, Matilda has already created a real excitement around her music, drawing listeners in with songs that balance punch with melody. She looks set to be one of the real breakouts of 2026.
At £12.10 with no hidden fees, this is the kind of entry point that makes discovering new artists feel accessible. More importantly, it sets the tone instantly for what Different Frequency seem to be about. This is the birth of a genuine community with a love for music at its very heart.
