Next month will see a brand-new one-day music festival take over one of rock's most iconic venues, as 'Forever Now' makes its debut at Milton Keynes Bowl. The festival will take place on Sunday, June 22nd, a day after the second ever Bludfest, with a line-up that blends some of punk, alt-rock and new wave's biggest names. The night will be headlined by one of the most revolutionary groups going Kraftwerk, who are renowned for their immersive approach to live performances. Kraftwek are joined at the top of the bill by the signature snarl of Billy Idol, who will be bringing with him a set full of rebellious anthems that defined a generation.
Unlike some festivals, the quality and stature of the artists involved continues the entire way down the line-up, with iconic acts such as the musical excellence of The The, the mind-blowing guitarwork of Johnny Marr, and a UK festival-exclusive performance from Death Cult. Elsewhere on the line-up will be the Godfather of Goth Peter Murphy, the post-punk brilliance of The Psychedelic Furs, the timeless tunes of The Jesus and Mary Chain, and the ever-infectious Happy Mondays. Line-ups don't come much better than that.
Punk innovators The Damned will also be performing a highly anticipated set at the festival, playing through their seminal LP 'The Black Album'. Even as you begin moving towards the bottom of the lineup poster you will still find some truly legendary names, with the likes of Public Image Ltd, Chameleons, and Berlin will also be joining the bill. The full lineup is truly stacked, so be sure to scroll to the bottom of this article to find out who else is playing.

Alongside two stages of live music, Forever Now will also have an exciting third stage, 'The Echo Chamber', which will provide an intimate setting for music lovers to discover more about the stories behind the artists they love. Hosted by the musical encyclopaedia that is John Robb, The Echo Chamber will "delve into the artistry, movement and culture through in-depth discussions with renowned artists, going behind the scenes to reveal their stories". Much like the musical stages, the lineup for The Echo Chamber is absolutely stacked, featuring iconic musicians like Rat Scabies (The Damned), Martha Davis (The Motels), Terri Nunn (Berlin), Richard Jobson (The Skids and The Armoury Show), and so many more
All of this makes Forever Now one of the most unmissable music events of the summer, a full-throttle day of iconic performances, non-stop entertainment, and a lively atmosphere from start to finish. Whether you're reliving the soundtrack of your youth or experiencing some of rock’s most legendary voices for the very first time, Forever Now promises the perfect setting for a truly unforgettable day.
