Mae Muller x Jodie Harsh - 'Hallucination'
"I’ve never said this about a song I’ve made before, but I genuinely feel like ‘Hallucination’ is a perfect song! Whenever I listen to it, I get that melancholy feeling mixed with euphoria that I’m always aiming for, and it just makes you want to dance! To work with Jodie on it has also just been so fun, and I think when you have fun writing / making a song you know it’s a good one."
Mae on the track
Heidi Curtis - 'Run'
“I wrote this song about OCD hiding behind my superstitions. All of my witchy signs and symbols became obsessive and commanding of my mind. This song answered all my questions when I needed it most. I just wanted to run away from my own head"
Heidi on the track

Rivkah Reyes - 'Ugly Cry'
"'Ugly Cry' is for the girls who go absolutely insane when their girlfriend starts pulling away. I have a disorganized attachment style, so unfortunately I know this dance very well. She pulls away, I chase her. She wants me back, I get bored. I think I might actually enjoy the yearning more than the relationship itself, which is a pretty humiliating thing to admit publicly."
Rivkah on the track
Lucky Iris ft. Lynks - 'lalalalala'
"Music that makes me move is my favourite type of music. I've never felt that more than at a Lynks show! So when we got in the studio together it was like magic. We started playing around with all of these sounds and made this crunchy soundscape which I think really brings together the worlds of Lucky Iris and Lynks... brings them together or crashes them into each other? It's playful and fun but also sexy and raw. It's meant to be enjoyed, we had such a good time creating it and I hope you can hear that when you listen, and listen again. It's meant to be addictive."
Vocalist Maeve on the track

Bradley Jago - 'Man Oh Man'
"Writing about these unspoken experiences ['queer soul for queer souls'] in songs is something I've always tried to do, because I've seen how unfortunately so many people relate. But also, how it can really help people through these moments."
Bradley on the track
Alas de Liona - 'Hunter I'
"I'm excited about Noble Rot because it's a big shift in my sound. It's more up-tempo and energetic than my previous music, while still fairly dark lyrically. Noble Rot is also more of a concept album than Gravity of Gold was, focusing on the vampire as a means to explore themes of authenticity and navigating society as someone who doesn't always fit in."
Alas on upcoming album 'Noble Roy' which features 'Hunter I'

Ishmael Ensemble ft. Pete Josef - 'Rise'
"It’s been so fun getting back in the studio with new collaborators, Pete’s vocal range is wild, I’m in total awe - then there’s Joe’s keys parts that subtly elevate it to a totally new place - both complete maestros in their fields and a pleasure to work with"
Founder Pete Cunningham on the track
Los Skeepers - 'ESTRÉS'
"I think the EP is a true reflection of our friendship, with all its nuances. It celebrates our skills, strengths, and ambitions, but also our insecurities and fears. For me, it’s a way of saying goodbye to my adolescence and entering early adulthood with hope for the future and confidence in myself. It gives me peace of mind to know that I can keep growing and evolving surrounded by the people I love"
Band member Alex on 'Algo Va A Pasar...', their debut EP which features the track

Arabella Lucia - 'Steal My Shimmer'
"'Steal My Shimmer' stemmed from learning that not everyone will celebrate your wins, recognise your skills or acknowledge your merit. It's an anthem of defiance dedicated to anyone who's ever been told to shrink their spirit to accommodate the insecurities and limiting projections of others."
Arabella on the track
Zoumer ft. mishmish - 'Round and round'
"I wanted to explore new ways of sharing my songs, especially after I started co-producing and discovered how much I enjoyed it. I thought it would be fun to collaborate with artists I could imagine co-inhabiting the same musical universe as a particular song with."
Zoumer on the track

Large Mirage - 'Watching'
“'Watching' is what we used to do when we had time on our wrists. Devices replace real time-keepers and are selling and telling us how to become our future selves, watching us and tracking virtual approval from virtual friends, propelling us, towards virtual futures, and the underlying fear of losing it all in one wrong virtual move”
Vocalist Kolya on the track
Lauren Claire Townley - 'Staying Up In Wonderland'
"I wrote 'Staying Up In Wonderland' about the magical, fairytale like moment when you fall in love with someone who embraces you, flaws and all! It’s an uplifting, whimsical country ballad that I’m pitching to Sabrina Carpenter for her upcoming Alice in Wonderland movie! However, like most things, sometimes the fantasy life wears off and you spiral back to reality..."
Lauren on the track

Katherine Aly - 'KRUGER [for the worst one]'
"'KRUGER [for the worst one]' is my confrontation with the objectification that shapes so much of women’s lives, inspired by Barbara Kruger’s Untitled (Your gaze hits the side of my face), but twisted into the rhythm of modern dating’s transactional hell."
Katherine on the track
FLEUR ROUGE - 'Pretty Privilege'
"I never want my music to feel overly serious or preachy, but I do want my lyrics to have something to say. Whether it's about modern dating, relationships, or just the awkward realities of being in your twenties, I want people to laugh, relate, and maybe see themselves in the songs too"
FLEUR on her songwriting

Blue Mena - 'Jamie'
"'Jamie' is my version of David [from Giovanni's Room], or at least the parts of David that I relate to, a person that is running away from his problems and swept up in the wind of his own life. This one goes full dreamy dance pop and feels like a nice compliment to my song ‘Jewels’ that I released a few years back.”
Mena on the track
Pitfall - 'Before The Embrace'
"'Before The Embrace' is a step away from our heavier stoner/dessert rock sound heard in our previous singles. The song and lyrics reference attachment, connection and the fear of loss that comes with it. We took inspiration from a far wider range of influences and experimented more than ever with this track to create what we think is our best work yet."
Vocalist Harry on the track

brookelen - 'shadow'
"I love mythology and astrology and maybe even demonology. I wrote this song about the story of Icarus, who flies too close to the sun and his wings melt and he perishes. It’s a reminder to find the balance. Both yin and yang. I love intimate vocals paired with fuzzed out guitars."
brookelen on the track
telekura - 'hi-chew'
"It’s about coming up short against what’s considered a properly-functioning adult. This really began as a rant against these ‘life coaches’ on LinkedIn and how they seem to have a framework on how to succeed in life."
Vocalist Rachel on the track

Loxie - 'Feel about it'
"This song was written about feeling sad over not knowing where you stand. I wrote it about the in-between moments after you breakup with someone. Obsessing over a situation that you don’t have control over. It feels like a universal experience to romanticise a relationship you absolutely never experienced, which I hope the back and forth narrative of this song encapsulates. I worked with my collaborator and friend Jack Seegz on the track. It is the first single from my upcoming EP I am due to release early next year!"
