Nieve Ella - 'I'M NOT DEAD'

"My debut album. A project that has never felt so real, raw, truthful and my most authentic self. It’s a time capsule of my truest feelings and events of the past couple of years of becoming the artist I am today. I’ve never felt so purposeful, creative and free. I wanted to set myself apart and to take some risks - I really believe I’ve done that and hope everyone else hears it too"

Beth McCarthy - 'The Love After The Love of Your Life'

“This song is a satirical ode to the insecure, jealous, possessive monster that lives inside me when I’m in love and the battle I have with it, specifically when it comes to my partner's exes. People having a romantic past is totally normal and healthy and logic says that exes are exes for a reason, but there will always be that little crazy and totally unreasonable voice in my head saying 'I should be the only person you’ve ever loved! And if I’m not and you loved before me…am I the love after the love of your life?' I really wanted to have fun with this one and fully lean into the dark humour and exaggerate the unhinged thoughts so that the track itself feels like it’s been taken directly from my brain in its descent into madness and made into a chaotic pop song!"

CHINCHILLA - 'Irrevocably Changed'

"You know that feeling when you’re going through the worst thing, and everything just carries on. Like your world has totally stopped, and you’re just watching everyone else live, and it’s equally soul destroying, and comforting. Just the surreal nature of complete heartbreak. Disassociation."

Chrissi - 'PAPER MAN !'

"‘I HATE YOU DON’T LEAVE ME !’ the album is the full story of the single on a larger scale, going into my moments of feeling in love and why it was hard to sever the tie. It also covers my experience as a girl growing into womanhood and still trying to navigate all the negative experiences that come with it."

Maddie Regent - 'Lizzy'

"My favorite love stories start with two enemies who spend all their time fighting their attraction to one another,” says Regent. “I wanted to write a song that captured that stubborn inevitable love."

Mathilda Homer - 'Weapons'

"I wrote weapons in a time of deep need, my younger sister was at an all time low and I needed to find a way to tell her that I was there for her, so I wrote this song, as well as painting her room. A song to someone you love, telling them you can share their wars and they don’t have to stand alone. When I sing it live it makes me feel like I could burst into tears. One for the people who need others to stand with them."

Mathilda on the track

Stella Lain - 'The Boys Who Broke My Heart'

"Stella wrote this sassy little song after finding old song books of hers. She found songs she had written about past relationships, which at the time, believed was love and thought she would never get over. It put into perspective how time really can heal; she had completely forgotten about the heartbreak and them even existing. Now seeing it all in the review mirror, Stella thought about what she would say to her younger self now, and that’s how the chorus was made."

The creation of the track

Stanleys - 'It's Not Over'

“This song resembles the dying art of individualism in today’s society. The idea of doing something against the grain scares people so much, but I implore you to give it a try… and listen to this song at the same time."

Frontman Tom on the track

SerpentS - 'Wetter Than Revenge'

"This song is our Billie Jean. We were almost too scared to release it into the world because we believe this song is so powerful. It’s an alt rock feminine rage anthem with a western inspired music video - what’s not to love?"

Vocalist Eli on the track

Soleil - 'Rubbish'

"The song is about waking up to the lies that we convince ourselves to believe; what begins as a story of unconditional love and loyalty unravels into the realization that empty promises, mixed signals, and emotional neglect were never love at all."

Soleil on the track

Alivia Clark - 'Dancing In Circles'

“'Dancing In Circles' explores the push and pull of attraction and is about being stuck in a cycle with someone that you know isn’t good for you, but the chemistry makes it impossible to let go. There’s something so addictive about that feeling, you know that you’re going around in circles, but part of you doesn’t want to stop.”

Alivia on the track

Maddie Claire - 'altar'

"'Altar' is about watching somebody you love become a stranger and then having to be the one to walk away. It’s about realizing somebody doesn’t feel like home anymore, flipping the idea of 'happily ever after' on its head."

Maddie on the track

Lullabee - 'Burn to Flames'

"‘Burn To Flames’ is a song about finally letting go. I wrote it a couple of months after a relationship ended, while reflecting on feelings I'd buried for a long time that eventually all started coming to the surface. I wanted to capture that moment when you realise you can't keep trying to make something work, and it's time to let go and move on. Although the song comes from quite an emotional place, I wanted it to feel euphoric and freeing, turning something sad into something you can dance to."

Lullabee on the track

Paulina Kwiat - 'Don't Call Me'

"'Don’t Call Me' is about reaching that point in a breakup where something finally switches. You’ve been through the back and forth, the promises, the apologies and the same conversations over and over again, until one day you realise you just don’t feel the same anymore. It’s about that familiar feeling of seeing someone’s name flash up on your phone and knowing you don’t want to answer. Not because you hate them, or because you’re trying to prove a point, but because you’ve finally found peace in letting go. I wanted to capture that moment of clarity when you stop holding on to what someone could be and start choosing what feels right for you."

Paulina on the track

Finn Flood - 'Caught in the Sun'

"Caught in the Sun (lead single of Better Alone EP), encapsulates the nostalgia of your first crush in your late teens. I wrote the song after feeling unable to remove myself from a once sided summer romance. The song, although expressing despair, has a light uplifting feeling which reflects the years relishing the late summers evenings, with the potential of reciprocated love.”

Finn on the track

Eloise Carter - 'Facing It'

"Facing It’ closes the EP and focuses on the realisation that you do not have to carry everything alone. That idea ended up mirroring a real change within the band: in 2026, transitioning from a solo project to a four-piece band, as the track explores learning to share the weight of pushing the project forward as a collective rather than a solo project"

Alice Sloan - 'Within You'

"I wrote Within You as a call to action, as much to myself as anyone else. It is a reminder of the passion and creativity that exists within all of us. We can spend so much time trying to be cool, to fit in, seeking an outlet and expression in external validation. While we are drowning in ideas of what we should be and could be, it is liberating to reconnect with the part of you deep down that knows who you are and knows what your are not."

Alice on the track

Jess & Dec - 'Dark Eyes'

"‘Dark Eyes', the title track of our debut EP, coming in December, tells a story of friendship, and the true strength, passion and desperation that can be felt when you love someone so deeply. We wanted it to have the kind of magical, folky atmosphere and imagery that we admire and love so much in the music we listen to, taking inspiration from the sounds of Celtic folk. It’s one of those songs that grew more special with every line we wrote, it even helped us gain our first nomination in the Folk and Americana category at the NMG Awards 2026. With a few unexpected, slightly nerdy, inspirations hidden within its story (maybe Lord of The Rings fans might notice them?) Dark Eyes is a song we hope listeners can truly feel the magic of and connect with.”

Jess & Dec on the track

Danny Clement - 'Dice'

"‘Dice’ came from finally accepting the end of a relationship that, for a long time, I don’t think I had completely let go of. The relationship itself was already over, but there was still a part of me holding onto the idea that maybe one day things would work themselves out and we’d somehow find our way back to each other."
